PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chopping board which can be used not only as an ordinary chopping board but also as a washboard enabling the thorough washing of dishcloths or the like. SOLUTION: The front side A of this chopping board 1 is formed flat, whereas the back side B has an unevenness 4 in the wide area consisting of a number of peak lines 2 and trough lines 3 arranged next to and in parallel with each other. The front side A is to be used as a chopping board for cooking, and the back side B, thanks to its unevenness 4, can be used in washing dishcloths or rubbing vegetables with salt to make pickles.
