PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire groove structure optimum for narrow-pitch machining. SOLUTION: A wire groove 23 is constituted of a wire groove bottom 24, a groove intermediate part 25 from the wire groove bottom 24 to an upper side and a groove upper part 26 from the groove intermediate part 25 to an opening part. The groove intermediate part 25 supports an outer peripheral part of a wire 2 and is opened at an inclined angleγfor spreading a groove width in an opening direction from the wire groove bottom 24. The groove upper part 26 becomes wider or the same in groove width from the groove intermediate part 25 to the opening part, and is opened at an opening angleδacuter than the inclined angleγof the groove intermediate part 25.
