<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric car capable of securely regenerating a diesel particulate filter device while suppressing the lowering of a fuel cost without using the charged power of a battery for traveling. <P>SOLUTION: This hybrid electric car comprises a diesel particulate filter device 13 installed in an exhaust tube 16 and an electric heater 14 for regenerating the diesel particulate filter device 13 by heating.
