<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program capable of improving quality of an image generated at the time of zoom processing, an information storage medium and an image generation system thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The image generation system comprises a texture storage part that stores a plurality of textures of different levels of resolution for a mipmap; a texture mapping part that executes mipmap processing to textures for a mipmap in which the farther an object is from a virtual camera, the lower the resolution level is; and a zoom processing part that executes zoom processing that enlarges the display image without changing the position of the virtual camera. When zoom processing is implemented, the texture mapping part executes mapping of a texture for a mipmap on to an object, of which resolution level is higher than that of the texture for a mipmap which is mapped on to an object when zoom processing is not implemented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
