<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure gas bearing having high load capacity and capable of operating till high rotations. <P>SOLUTION: The dynamic pressure gas bearing 1 supports a rotating shaft 4 to a bearing housing 2 by the dynamic pressure of gas. On the bearing housing 2, a foil 3 having flexibility is attached so as to oppose to the rotating shaft 4. A groove 5 is formed on the rotating shaft 4, which generates pressure in the gas between the rotating shaft 4 and the foil 3 according to rotations of the rotating shaft 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
