The method involves transmitting authentication parameters by a recharging server to a dynamic virtual card server (20). A client terminal (10) selects an amount proposed by the recharging server that then requests a dynamic virtual card at the server (20). The server (20) calculates a number of the card and transmits it to the recharging server which then requests credit of prepaid account for the amount. The credit is then confirmed. An independent claim is also included for a transaction device.
