<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection cap for preventing a joint of a joint wire from being removed from a cap body, improving a connection work of the joint wire and wrap-around of a sealing material, and ensuring a stable waterproof property. <P>SOLUTION: The connection cap for covering and holding the joint 7 fitted to a sleeve of the joint wire 3 inserted from an opening 14a at a back end of the cap body 12 filled with the sealing material, is provided with a side spacer 21 coupled to a wall at the opening of the cap body 12 through a flexible hinge 20 and having a clamp 23 for holding a core 4b of the joint 7 so as to position the joint 7 in the center of the cap at a tip, and a pair of slots 16, 17 for inserting the side spacer 21 into a location near the hinge 20 on the wall of the cap body 12 as the hinge 20 is outwardly bent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
