PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body which inhibits overheating of a motor-driven blower by avoiding the overload conditions of the motor-driven blower by making the open air flow in from a second opening only when the wide stretch of an suction port is closed at the time of use of a vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: In the suction port body 1 of the vacuum cleaner with a suction port 8 and a discharging port 10, a leak inflow port 21 arranged with being separated from the suction port port 8 and an opening and closing cover 20 which is opened when this leak inflow port 21 is closed and internal pressure is reduced below a predetermined negative pressure, are integrally provided.
