PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-variable combustion burner capable of preventing the generation of a bad odor and carbon in combustion for lowering a residual pressure remaining in an oil feed pipe, to a specific pressure in stopping the combustion. SOLUTION: This combustion burner comprises a nozzle 2 for spraying the oil, an electromagnetic pump 3 for pressure-feeding the oil to the nozzle 2, an opening and closing valve 5 mounted on the way of the oil feed pipe 4 connecting the electromagnetic pump 3 and the nozzle 2, and a combustion fan 6 for supplying the air for combustion. The opening and closing valve 5 is opened to release the residual oil even after stopping the electromagnetic pump 3 in extinction, and a constant pressure can be kept in the oil feed pipe 4 between the electromagnetic pump 3 and the opening and closing valve 5. The rotational frequency of the combustion fan 6 is controlled to be kept in a burnable range of the oil sprayed from the nozzle 2 by the residual pressure releasing pressure in extinction. Whereby complete combustion can be achieved, the generation of a bad odor and carbon can be surely prevented, an extinction time can be shortened, after-boiling can be reduced, and the combustion burner can be used in safety at all times.
