Use of water-soluble cyclodextrin derivatives (A) (with a polysaccharide having 3 sugar units) in temporary equipment for fiber with active agent binder and/or precipitating agent, where the equipment is non-durable to washing-/cleaning process and removable, and the active agent is an aroma based material. Use of water-soluble cyclodextrin derivatives (A) (with a polysaccharide having 3 sugar units (in which the hydroxyl group can be replaced partly by -OR on the cyclodextrin residue, which is formed from cyclodextrin molecule that is covalently bound with hydroxyl group)) in temporary equipment for fiber with active agent binder and/or precipitating agent, where the equipment is non-durable to washing-/cleaning process and removable, and the active agent is an aroma based material. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method for temporary equipment for fiber with active agent binder and/or precipitating agent comprising contacting the fiber with a composition containing (I) and water, where the equipment is non-durable to washing-/cleaning process and removable, and the active agent is an aroma based material; (2) a fiber (preferably textile fiber, textile related product or hair) obtained by the method; (3) a composition, used in the method, comprising (A) in an aqueous solution or dispersing agent (where (A) is about 0.0001-2 (preferably 0.01-5) wt.% related to the total weight of the composition); (4) a water-soluble cyclodextrin derivative with a polysaccharide having 10 sugar units in which the hydroxyl groups are replaced by -OR, where the cyclodextrin covalently bonded to the hydroxyl group of the polysaccharides can be replaced by ether group (-O-); and (5) preparation of the water-soluble cyclodextrin derivative comprising substituting at least one leaving group (preferably tosyl group) of cyclodextrin derivative and subsequently transforming to the compound.
