<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing dew condensation in piping capable of increasing a service life of a piping or the like by reducing in-duct corrosion due to dew condensation during operation outage. <P>SOLUTION: In a system sucking in exhaust gas exhausted from an electric furnace 1, passing it through a piping duct or the like of a double structure water jacket type, treating it into normal air by a dust collector, and then exhausting it out into the atmosphere, during system outage, hot water that is hotter than an in-piping air temperature is supplied into a jacket J.
