PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing chocolate-containing confectionery by which chocolate-containing confectionery can be continuously formed via extrusion while reducing water activity of the chocolate-containing confectionery containing chocolate and water based raw materials. SOLUTION: The method for producing chocolate-containing confectionery comprises containing 1-10 mass% of sugar alcohol having a melting point at≥100°C in the chocolate-containing confectionery containing chocolate and water based raw materials, and extruding the confectionery.
