PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide indium tin oxide fine particles and a coating for forming a transparent conductive film by which the transparent conductive film having a superior conductivity such that the surface resistivity is 103Ω/sq. or lower, a excellent antireflection property such that the lowest reflectance in the visible light region is 1% or smaller, a excellent durability such that the lowering of the conductivity with time is small, can be realized, and a transparent conductive film and a display apparatus, and also a method of manufacturing the transparent conductive film. SOLUTION: The indium tin oxide fine particles have a specific surface area of 15 m2/g to 30 m2/g, the range of the value of a*is -12 to -7 when the color values of transmitting color in the visible light region are expressed with a*and b*, and the range of the value of b*is 15 to 25.
