ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER AND METHOD FOR FORMING IMAGE BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an invisible image without decreasing the picture quality of a visible image formed together with the invisible image or to form an invisible image in any region independently of a visible image forming region. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner contains a near IR absorbent and a fluorescent brightening agent. The near IR absorbent shows an absorption peak in a 800 to 1,250 nm range and has 10 to 50% absorbance at 380 nm wavelength and 10 to 20% absorbance at 780 nm with respect to the absorbance at the above absorption peak.
