PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device of a ceiling direct mount type illumination fixture in which the illumination fixture body does not come off inadvertently from an adaptor by locking a locking member of an adaptor and a locking receiving part of the illumination fixture body surely. SOLUTION: This fixture is provided with a pair of the locking members which are energized to the adaptor (1) of the mounting device of the ceiling direct mount type illumination fixture so that they protrude from the side wall part (32), and which are movably installed from the locking position locked to the locking receiving part (22) to the releasing position released from the locking receiving part (22), and a coupling member (7) which couples the respective locking members one another and which is rocking supported, and which makes the locking member interlock and make it retreat to the releasing position by being rocked, and a release operation part (8) which is exposed on the lower side and which makes the coupling member (7) be rocked by the rocking operation.
