<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery device which injects material such as collagen in dermal, sub-dermal or other locations in humans and other mammals, monitors quantity of the material delivered and controls an exact injection site of the material. <P>SOLUTION: The delivery device 10 includes: a trigger member 14 which can be held by a hand, houses a syringe 40 and transmits fluid containing liquid or gas to a piston 52 of the syringe 40 under pressure; and a control valve assembly 60 which is connected to the trigger member 14 and controls a flow of the pressurized fluid to a plunger 72 of the syringe 40. The trigger member 14 is actuable between a position to provide the pressurized fluid to the syringe body and a position to vent the fluid, includes an adjustable needle depth guide 300 to provide a visual and/or a physical indication of the extent of needle penetration into the dermis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
