PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock which is improved in security against unauthentic unlocking of a lever tumbler lock or a rotary disk tumbler lock, to thereby enhance the safety thereof. SOLUTION: A commercially available key duplicating tool can produce a mode of key setting by inserting a flat thin wire via a thin pipe inserted into a keyhole, into a gap between partition plates 3 of the lever tumbler lock and a lever tumbler 11, and detecting an angular position of an unlocking notch of the lever tumbler. Therefore to prevent insertion of the flat thin wire into the gap, at least one of the partition plates 3 defining a slot in which the lever tumbler 11 is housed, has a bulged portion 19 formed at a keyhole opening edge closer to a locking bar and at a location that does not interfere with the lever tumbler 11.
