PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a light source device using a semiconductor laser (hereinafter referred to as the LD), since there is a large difference in a coefficient of linear expansion between the metal material of an LD holder and an insulating ceramic material, optical axis displacement is easily to occur between the LD and a collimate lens due to a large temperature change. SOLUTION: An annular member 22 to which the LD 20 is fitted has the tapered face 22b of a conical trapezoid on the opposite side of an LD mounting face, and has the tapered face of the recess of a substantially same shape as the conical trapezoid on an LD mounting face side of the LD holder 21. Both the tapered faces come into contact with each other at low frictional resistance, and are urged rightward in the figure by an LD press plate 23 from the rear side of the LD.
