<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral device controller conducting power control complying with previously specified power setting when software update is completed; and to provide a peripheral device, an information processing server, a power control method for the peripheral device and the peripheral device controller, and a power control system for the peripheral device and the peripheral device controller. <P>SOLUTION: Embodiment includes: conducting power control for the peripheral device controller 3 based on the power condition of the peripheral device 2 when the software update is completed; conducting power control for the peripheral device 2 and the peripheral device controller 3 based on a power control instruction included in the controlling script of the software delivered from a software delivery server 6 when the software update is completed; and conducting power control for the peripheral device 2 and the peripheral device controller 3 based on the power control instruction when the software update is completed by previously setting the power control instruction to the peripheral device 2, the peripheral device controller 3, the peripheral device 2 and the peripheral device controller 3, or the software delivery server 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
