PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin walled fuser roll core cylinder capable of improving energy efficiency and shortening a warm-up time. SOLUTION: The cylinder 20 of a thin walled fuser roll core assembly is provided with a keyway 24 engaging with a key of a driving gear. The axial stress at the terminus of the axial keyway 24 is redirected to a radial direction. A keyway slot 24 is terminated at a radial slot 28. Thus, shown by an arrow 29, the fatigue stress when being compressed is reduced, and the axial pressure stress of the melting core cylinder is redirected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
