<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a fuel cell system mounted in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell system comprising a reformer 1 for producing reformed gas by reforming gas containing hydrogen, a combustor for starting 7 for combusting fuel and air supplied from the outside at the time of staring and supplying the combustion gas to the reformer, a fuel cell stack 4 for generating electricity using the reformed gas, and a discharging hydrogen combustor 5 for treating the hydrogen discharged from the fuel cell stack, the fuel cell system further comprises a recycle line 6 for connecting the discharging hydrogen combustor with the combustor for starting and supplying the combustion gas discharged from the discharging hydrogen combustor to the combustor for starting. At the time of warm up, after the fuel and air from the outside are lean-combusted in the combustor for starting, the air supply is stopped and the combustion gas is circulated from the recycle line and combusted and the combustion gas produced from the combustion is supplied to the reformer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
