CAR BODY SIDE PART STRUCTURE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase shock transmitting force from a door to a car body side at the time of side face collision and force for restraining the door from intruding into the inside of a cabin. SOLUTION: An impact beam 26 is arranged inside the front side door 16 along the longitudinal direction of the car body. A rear end part 26B of the impact beam 26 is bent to the lower side of the car body. The rear end part 26B of the impact beam 26 is fixed to a step part 34A of a door inner panel 34 through a bracket 32. The rear end part 26B of the impact beam 26 and a closed cross section part 44 of a center pillar 38 are overlapping in a car body side view. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
