摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the fuel cut release timing and the intake flow rate to prevent engine failure during the deceleration in an internal combustion engine of a vehicle having a means to set the target throttle opening according to the operational quantity of an accelerator and a means to control the opening of a throttle valve to the target value. SOLUTION: A control device of an internal combustion engine comprises means (S1-S4) to calculate the decelerationΔN of the engine speed, a means (S6) to set the fuel cut release speed according to the decelerationΔN to the comparative value with the engine speed, means (S7 and S10) to release the fuel cut when the engine speed reaches the fuel cut release speed, a means (S5) to perform correction of adding the throttle correction opening according to the decelerationΔN to the opening of a throttle valve, and means (S12-S14) to keep the throttle correction opening according to the decelerationΔN when the fuel cut is released for a predetermined time.
