The electrically power brush [5] has a number of bristles [4] that each have an insert of ferromagnetic material [6] that act as core pieces. Set into the main body are electromagnets [7[ that are coupled to a signal generator [8]. This allows a force field to be produced that can be continuous or pulsed and cause controlled deflection of the bristles.
