<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a standby time until form is ejected when a copy is taken. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with a plurality of trays (lower tray and upper tray) to which forms are ejected correspondingly to a plurality of output modes (copy mode and print mode) and those trays are selectively set opposite to an ejection opening according to an output mode.
