The assembly has at least two actuating elements, e. g. an accelerator-type pedal (2) on the right, and a brake-type pedal (3) on the left, each of which generates an output signal used for acceleration, deceleration, and/or speed holding. The pedals are mounted in the foot space of the vehicle at a distance to each on the base plate (1), and at least one of them has an associated foot rest (4,5,6). The contact faces of the pedals and of the foot rest are located on different levels. The pedals generate a signal only after a set force has been overcome. The signals are supplied to a device for acceleration/deceleration. |
