A HIGH REFRACTORY BULK

A high refractory bulk for producing molded and non-molded refractories, first of all for tamped lining of high temperature units with working temperature of 2300-2450 oC, contains as refractory filling agent 50-70 % by weight of grainy zirconium dioxide stabilized by 8-25 % by weight of yttrium oxide, as finely milled component -19.5-47.5 % by weight of zirconium dioxide stabilized by 8-25 % by weight of yttrium oxide and 2.5-10.5 % by weight of non-stabilized zirconium dioxide with a content of particles with size smaller than 0.004 mm, greater than 90 %. As bonding agent the bulk contains 2.5-3.0 % by weight of orthophosphoric acid (over 100 % as per P2O5).
