PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle meter for allowing each segment of a bar display section to emit light by a common light source. SOLUTION: A bar display section in which a light transmission segment for displaying the amount of change related to a vehicle state is arranged in a rod shape is provided on a dial, and an emission section is provided on the rear, thus increasing or decreasing the number of segments that emit light according to the increase/decrease in the amount of change. The emission section comprises: a group of prisms 10a as a light guide in which the tip section is formed as a light irradiation surface 11 for performing the emission of each belonging segment and the base end section is formed as a light incidence surface 12 each while the group of prisms 10a are subdivided according to each segment and are laminated in a state being shielded mutually; and a movable light projection section 20 for successively increasing the number of segments that emit light by projecting light from a common light-emitting diode 23 successively to the light incidence surface 12 of each prisms 10a while being driven in a step by a step motor 21.
