PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of adjusting operation performed by vibrating an entire optical apparatus in exchanging an image shake correcting device and to secure required image shake correcting performance. SOLUTION: The image shake correcting device 1 includes an optical element 9 driven to correct image shake associated with vibration, a vibration detection means 2 detecting the vibration and a storage means 8 storing data inherent to the image shake correcting device used to control a driving means 10 driving the optical element based on a signal from the vibration detection means.
