摘要

The invention describes neutral porphyrinyl-nucleotides as pro-drugs, which selectively transport nucleosides with therapeutic activity to tumour cells or cells infected by a virus. The porphyrinyl-nucleotides contain phosphate, phosphoramidate or thiophosphate bonds, which enable one or several identical molecules of the nucleoside analogue in question or a combination of different nucleoside molecules to be joined together. Moreover the invention provides novel porphyrins having anti-tumour and/or antiviral activity useful both in photodynamic therapy by themselves, or as carriers of nucleoside analogues so that pro-drugs can be obtained.
