<p>There is provided an electric power steering device which can be appropriately mounted on a vehicle. The electric power steering device (1) includes a rack shaft (20) configured so as to perform reciprocal movement; a rack housing (10) for containing the rack shaft (20); a sleeve (41) arranged coaxially with the rack shaft (20) on the outer circumference of the rack shaft (20) via a ball screw mechanism (30); a brush-less motor (40) configured to rotate the sleeve (41) and having a substantially cylindrical shape; and a rotation angle sensor (50) configured so as to detect a rotation angle of the brush-less motor (40). The rack housing (10) has a power connector (42) for supplying power to the brush-less motor (40) and a sensor connector (52) for outputting a detection signal of the rotation angle sensor (50). The power connector (42) and the sensor connector (52) are arranged with a gap at the same side of the rack shaft in its axial direction with respect to the brush-less motor (40).</p>
