PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a component to a lower side of a rear part of a car body, which structure can provide a crushable zone above a rigid component arranged to the lower side of the rear part of the car body and further can reduce the clearance between the structure and other components positioned below a floor in the front of the car body. SOLUTION: A front supporting portion 1a and a rear supporting portion 1b are provided at two positions of an electronic four wheel drive unit 1 in the front and rear direction of the car body. The rear supporting portion 1b is mounted to a rear cross member 12 so as to turn in the forward and backward directions. In addition, the front supporting portion 1a is mounted to a front cross member 10 via an engaging and disengaging mechanism 2 which can be disengaged by inputting a load from the rear side of the car body. In the case of rear face collision, the portion of the electronic four wheel drive unit 1 located on the front side of the car body is dropped about the rear supporting portion. As a result, the car body portion where the electronic four wheel drive unit 1 is arranged is able to serve as a crushable zone. In addition, the clearance between both members can be reduced by avoiding the interference with a fuel tank T arranged in the front side of the car body.
