An inoculation system for the transfer of fluids to micro-dilution plates uses a tray (1), an inoculator (2), a suction unit for transport and dispensation, being formed as a disposable syringe (8). The syringe for coupling to the inoculator has a perimetral collar (10) with a rib (12) which, in collaboration with a groove (13) of the inoculator collar, establishes a male/female coupling, i.e. a mechanical fixture which permits, after aspiration of the innoculum, the inoculator to be moved towards the micro-dilution plate, using the syringe as unit of transport and inoculation.
