PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve service property by facilitating the analysis for failure or breakage cause of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises an outdoor unit 15 having an inverter system 17 for inverter-controlling a compressor 6 and a drive motor, an indoor unit 14 connected to the outdoor unit, a signal line and a pipe, and a remote control 13 for communicating with the indoor unit to perform setting of room temperature. The inverter system 17 includes a fin temperature detection means 1 for detecting the temperature of a radiation fin for performing the heat radiation of the inverter system 17, a DC voltage detection means 2 for detecting the DC voltage supplied for the inverter control, a motor current detection means 3 for detecting the operating current of the compressor, and an abnormality detection means 5 for detecting abnormality based on the value of at least any one of the temperature of the radiation fin, the DC voltage and the operating current.
