The front axle mounting for agricultural machines comprises a casting (2) with a reinforced, asymmetric rear section which contains a recess (3) and a lug, to which the suspension cylinder for the axle is attached. The front section has mountings (10) for controls, for lifting gear, e.g. a recess (15) for mounting a lifting cylinder, and for drive components, e.g. a recess (16) for a stub axle.
