A sealing, trimming or finishing strip is disclosed comprising a main body (4), an upper lip (5), a lower lip (8) and a disengageable clip (7), each extending along the length of the strip. Such a sealing, trimming or finishing strip is shown as a waist seal on the door of a vehicle body. The strip is mounted on a panel (9) of the door by means of a clip (7) engaging in an aperture (9C). With the window glass lowered, the upper lip (5) flexes away from the door panel, allowing a screwdriver (13) or similar tool to access a gap (12) by means of which a force can be applied to a limb (7A) forming part of the clip (7). In this way, the clip (7), and thus the whole strip, can be easily removed from the door. |
