<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristic setting device for an equalizer that can easily set an overall frequency characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: Frequency characteristics of respective filters which are set ON by a setting means and the overall frequency characteristic obtained by combining the frequency characteristics of the respective frequencies which are set ON are displayed as a graph. Graph display of a frequency characteristic of a filter which is set ON is added and the frequency characteristics of the filters which are set ON are combined to update graph display of the overall frequency characteristic. Graph display of a frequency characteristic of a filter which is set OFF is erased to exclude the frequency characteristic of the filter which is set OFF, thereby updating the graph display of the overall frequency characteristic. Consequently, which filter frequency characteristics are combined to constitute the overall frequency characteristic can be understood at a glance and the overall frequency characteristic can easily be set to a desired overall frequency characteristic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
