PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof sheet smooth laying structure eliminating step difference also at an end part of a waterproof sheet and preventing rainwater from staying at the outer peripheral edge part of a roof. SOLUTION: In this waterproof sheet smooth laying structure, a welding strip 7 is provided on the surface of backing concrete 3 corresponding to boundary parts 5, 6 of the waterproof sheet 4, and an undersheet 11 with the same thickness as the welding strip 7 is laid on the surface of the backing concrete 3 excluding a part provided with the welding strip 7. The waterproof sheet 4 is laid on the undersheet 11 so that the boundary part of the waterproof sheet 4 comes to the welding strip 7. An outer edge fixing member 8 formed with stepped parts 8e with the same thickness as the welding strip 7 at predetermined spaces is installed at the roof outer peripheral edge in the end position of the welding strip 7, and the end part of the welding strip 7 is disposed at the stepped part 8e of the outer edge fixing member 8 so that the welding strip 7 is made flush with the surface of the outer edge fixing member 8.
