<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mode displaying method for a lighting device for diagnostic examination capable of discriminating the time of a treating mode and a composite mode solving the problem that it becomes difficult for a medical doctor or an assistant to determine a dark lighting intensity of the treatment mode or a lighting intensity of the composite mode only by seeing the light quantity emitted from the lighting device when making it possible to switch the lighting intensity in the current treating mode. <P>SOLUTION: In the mode displaying method for the lighting device for diagnostic examination, a light source 61a for displaying such as a light emitting diode emitting at least two kinds of color light is arranged at a position capable of being seen from any direction in a lighting device for lighting an operation site at the time of the examination, the brightness at the time of examination mode is displayed by selectively lighting the light source for displaying according to the difference in the brightness at the time of the examination, further the composite mode is displayed by blinking the light source for displaying in a lighting condition at the time of the composite mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
