PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonsintered electrode which is so constructed that a porous metal body is filled with an active material and which prevents the falling-off of the active material in the cutting part of the electrode, improves the strength of the cutting part thereof and has no short-circuit, and provide a coating agent composition to achieve them. SOLUTION: The coating agent composition for coating the end of the nonsintered electrode whose porous metal body is filled or coated with the active material and which forms a cell by winding in scroll and inserting into a cylindrical electrolyte bath, contains in its molecule an elastomer-skeletal oligomer containing at least a (metha)acrylate group.
