<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeatedly usable cloth for filtering a food, hardly causing contamination of the food with fluff in the filtration of various kinds of colored food such as coffee, tea and wine, for example in the filtration of the coffee, hardly making the stain remarkable after the filtration of the food by previously being colored or dyed by coffee beans, and mild to the environment; and to provide a method for producing the cloth. <P>SOLUTION: The cloth for the filtration is composed of a woven fabric which is constituted of a synthetic multifilament composite yarn comprising a gray yarn composed of ultrafine fibers having ≥0.01 and ≤1 dtex single fiber size, and a crimped yarn composed of crimped ultrafine fibers having ≥0.01 and ≤1 dtex single fiber size, in which a part or the whole of the fibers on the surface or in the interior are interlaced with each other, and which is previously colored or dyed with the colored food. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
