The roller has a paint application sleeve (200), and a frame (100) forming an axial shaft for the sleeve during its rotation. A tubular head (320) is placed on a portion of the frame extending out from the sleeve towards a handle. An intermediate tube (310) extends in the form of two longitudinal legs (332, 333) diametrically opposite to each other. The legs are activated/deactivated for holding the sleeve.
