<p>The natural or synthetic foam consists of at least one layer (2, 3) of a spongy and porous material with a density of between 0.1 and 5000 kg/m3> and a compression or lift of 0.1-70% of its initial height and high or low resilience, impregnated with an active substance (4) in liquid or gel form. The foam material can be subjected to a surface treatment e.g. thermal, chemical or ultrasound, that shrinks its cells and it can be shaped by thermo-forming, extrusion or injection. It can be impregnated with a substance that is bactericidal, virucidal, degreasing or detergent and it can be released in a slow or programmable manner.</p> |
