PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of wrinkles or the like in a cover or the like of a booklet. SOLUTION: In this booklet maker and a sheet folder of such type that pushes one or more sheets into a nip formed between a pair of crease rolls, a slip clutch 24 is provided on a driving gear 22 and is functionally arranged between either (for example, 12) of the pair of crease rolls and the gear (for example, 22) driving the crease rolls.
