OPTICAL PIPE CABLE, BRANCHING MEMBER AND LAYING METHOD OF THE OPTICAL PIPE CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pipe cable and a branching member in which work required for optical pipe cable laying is greatly reduced at a laying site, the shape of a branching section is made small and no special laying space is required and the laying method of the optical cable using the above.

SOLUTION: In an optical pipe cable 2, a cable sheath 2a stores a plurality of pipes 4 into which optical fibers are to be inserted in a later process and branching members 13 are provided with prescribed intervals in pre-laying condition to branch the pipes 4. The branching member 13 of the optical pipe cable 2 is provided with cable insertion ports which are located at both ends of the member 13 to put through the optical pipe cable 2 in a linear manner and the branching angle of the pipes 4a to be branched is formed into an acute angle which is set equal to or less than 20°.
