PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-function composite terminal precedently preparable in performing quick work, and its method. SOLUTION: In the composite terminal which has a mobile phone function that is mainly for voice communication as a primary function and an optional function such as PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) function, a game function, a TV function etc., as a second function, when a user preliminarily sets a specific time or a place to the optional function which the user wants to use in a communication mode mainly used by the user and then it is decided that a setting condition is met by monitoring whether a specific setting condition is met in the communication mode, the optional function is automatically implemented without an intervention of the user or by performing setting that is easy for the implementation, and the user is notified of the end of the operation by a proper method. Therefore, it is convenient for the user because the user can use the optional function in a state that a user's additional operation time for performing the optional function is minimized.
