摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head where a ball travel distance is improved by the sufficient resilience of a face part by improving the fatigue durability of the face part to repeated hitting.

SOLUTION: A face member constituting the face part 2 comprises a member having a structure comprising a thick part 20 thicker than the other part and a thin part 21 thinner than the thick part 20 by forging. An average grain size on the side of a rear surface 2d at the boundary part 22 of the thick part 20 and the thin part 20 of the face part 20 is smaller than an average grain size on the side of a front surface 2c at the boundary part 22.
