<p>An electromagnetic clutch (20) for separably coupling a drive source and a rotary shaft has a rotor (25) to be disposed in the outside of the rotary shaft concentrically therewith. The rotor (25) is rotated by a drive source and accommodates an electromagnetic coil (24). The electromagnetic clutch (20) has an armature plate (40) that is attracted toward the rotor (25) by an electromagnetic force generated by the electromagnetic coil (24) so as to adhere to the rotor (25). Furthermore, the electromagnetic clutch (20) has a coupler (42) for coupling the armature plate (40) and the rotary shaft (22) to each other through return springs (64). The coupler (42) includes a center part (46, 54, 56) to be coupled to the rotary shaft (22) and an elastically-deformable outer part (58) that is extended from the center part (46, 54, 56) and couples the center part (46, 54, 56) to the armature plate (40). The outer part (58) is elastically deformed as said return springs (64) when the armature plate (40) is attracted to the rotor (25).</p> |
