<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive bathtub simple in structure, hard to soil, easy to clean and enabling the aged or the like to safely take a bath. <P>SOLUTION: This bathtub has a mechanism for preventing a water leakage by putting a cut-off plate for closing a cutout part 3 provided downward from the upper edge of a sidewall 2 of the bathtub 1, to the inner surface of the bathtub and pressing the cut-off plate to the inner side face of the bathtub by the water pressure of a water level rising by bathing in the bathtub. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
