PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a connecting part of a fitting and a suspension cord from being disconnected from each other, or easily disconnected by strong vibration when a gun is carried or stolen, though the gun can be easily attached to the fitting. SOLUTION: This gun suspending device comprises a support rod having a hook-shaped terminal end portion, a rotating rod pivoted on an upper end portion of the support rod at its upper end portion, being in parallel with the support rod, and butted to an inner face of a tip end portion of the hook-shaped portion at an outer face of the terminal end portion, a side move shaft journaled to the support rod at its one end, not threaded at the neighborhood of the journaled portion so that the journaled portion can slide, provided with a male screw engageable with an inside screw formed on the journaled portion, at a remaining part, and further kept into contact with an inner face of the rotating rod at the other end, and a spring member disposed between the support rod and the rotating rod, wound on the side move shaft, and constantly pressing the outer face of the terminal end portion of the rotating rod to the inner face side of the tip end portion of the hook-shaped portion of the support rod, and the hook-shaped portion of the support rod can be retained by a connecting member disposed on a gun main body.
